Dreaming of the Oodnadatta Track?

The Oodnadatta Track runs between Marree and Marla, which is in South Australia’s far north and is an outback road trip that you just have to take.

Beneath the Oodnadatta Track lies one of the world’s largest aquifers, the Great Artesian Basin, along the edges of the track the Basin squeezes to the surface, which explains some of the springs that provide an oasis to a range of plants, birds and other wildlife.

Driving in the outback is completely different from driving in the city and the country, so before you head off it’s a good idea to get some information and tips on driving in the outback.
