Retreat to give away Whitsunday Caravan in a stand against Coward Punch violence

A family business, family values matter deeply to Retreat Caravans so when Retreat Caravans Owner Shaz Kaptan learned how a coward punch tragically ended Pat Cronin’s life, the team felt impassioned to help his family’s stand against senseless social violence by supporting the Pat Cronin Foundation.

“Shaz learned of Matt and Robyn Cronin’s plight at the Be Wise Ball and came into the office the next day saying ‘We have to do something. We can make a difference here’,” Tilly, the General Manager for Retreat Caravans explains.

Stopping Senseless Social Violence

At 19 years of age, Pat was making a mark on the world studying health science and physiotherapy on a scholarship. But it ended tragically when Pat, defenseless while pulling his friend out of a brawl, sustained a horrific coward punch that later proved fatal.

“We are in the business of making caravans and see a lot of families in the work we do.

“By raffling out our beautiful Whitsunday XE caravan we can help the Pat Cronin Foundation visit more schools to deliver a programme that can stop this senseless social violence so no other family has to suffer the same terrible fate,” says Tilly.
