New Addition to the Kui Parks Family: Riverside Burrum Heads

Burrum Heads, Queensland

Kui Parks proudly welcomes Riverside Burrum Heads, the newest member to join our esteemed family of caravan parks. Owned and operated by Daniel Rocca and Rachel M, Riverside Burrum Heads promises an unparalleled camping experience amidst the breathtaking beauty of nature.

About the Owners:

Daniel and Rachel share the dream of offering a no sardines, old school camping experience with modern comforts. “Our dream was to find a beautiful environment that needed some help and to regenerate and preserve it for the future, while sharing it with others. Preserving this beautiful place is now everyone’s legacy.”

We hope campers ‘feel good’ knowing their camping dollars help support the regeneration work occurring at Riverside Burrum Heads.

About the Park:

Nestled between the Burrum Coast National Park and the Burrum River, the park provides unparalleled access to pristine waterways and untouched landscapes. Guests can enjoy spacious sites surrounded by nature’s serenity. Stoke the campfire while watching the sun set over tall gum trees or rise over the water, fire pits at every site. 3 beautiful dams for guests’ enjoyment, while simple walking tracks allow you to explore the environment, you may even discover a fairy glen.

Walk the sandbar at low tide and enjoy the sights or take your fishing gear and catch a flathead. A large sand spit allows campers to launch tinnies and other watercraft.

The rustic showers and flushing toilets are clean and sizeable, a god send for parents with children. There’s even a dunny garden, but don’t get confused!

Don’t forget to bring your furry friend but remember to keep them on a lead as kangaroos, echidnas and other wildlife live at Riverside. Don’t worry a huge off lead area is available for fur baby fun.

Things to Do:

Situated in the beautiful Fraser Coast region, there are endless possibilities to enjoy. Whether you just want to stay on site and relax, fish, kayak, swim, plant spot, birdwatch (more than 50 species are known to frequent the property), or explore, Riverside offers something for everyone. With ample space to unwind and ice, bait and firewood available, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while enjoying the comforts of civilisation close by.

Why not go for a short drive and check out some of the local attractions like pristine beaches, Howard Country Markets, K’gari, Toogoom mountain bike trails, Takura trail, wineries and Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo, to name but a few.
