At the recent Perth Caravan and Camping Show Macca met up with George Walley from Mandjoogoordap Dreaming – Mundurah Aboriginal Cultural Centre, a place dedicated to country experiences and culture.

Having spent his young years living in tents in his bush home, playing amongst nature and learning about his culture George holds his past in his heart. Quiet the character George is very keen to share his knowledge of language and country with visitors to the centre.

George explains a little of his language to Macca who had noticed a few similarities in a few words.

With tours, bush tucker and cultural experiences being just some of what’s on offer, a visit to Mandjoogoordap Dreaming – Mundurah Aboriginal Cultural Centre should be on all of our list of this to do when next in the west, not just Macca’s who is very keen to visit George as well.
