The beautiful Lake Pedder, a once-natural lake now takes on a different role as the man-made impoundment and diversion lake. Feb by the Franklin Range Lake Pedder, when full, has a surface of 242 square kilometres and is arguably the largest freshwater lake in Australia and is a mecca for fishing and kayaking.
