Get yourself out into the decadent and lively open air up this spring and head up to Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges. Only one hour out of Melbourne CBD, enjoy the vast array of wonderful Spring events, beautiful vineyard sunsets and scrumptious feasts, all while surrounded by the beautiful vibrancy nature around you.


You may want to take the kids to the Dandenong Ranges Botanical Gardens to see the rhododendrons or get lost in the wisteria walkway at Alowyn Gardens & Nursery. The fun definitely doesn’t stop there, while you’re in the area perhaps take them down to the Yarra Valley Chocolate and Ice Creamery to indulge in some yummy treats!

And as for mum and dad, the Yarra Valley is now home to two national award winning Good Food Guide-One Hat restaurants. You may choose to try TarraWarra Estate or Oakridge Winery, completing the experience with a tasting at their cellar doors and finishing with a visit to TarraWarra Museum of Art. Although you may want to extend your alone time and head down to the Japanese Mountain Retreat and relax in the hot mineral spring baths or enjoy a massage and some lunch to really indulge your senses.
