Egg-citement builds at The Royal Easter Show’s first ever Easter Egg Hunt
A totally new and immersive one-of-a-kind Royal Egg Hunt has joined the line-up for the iconic Royal Easter Show for the first time – delivering laughter and fun in an enchanted maze setting, with whimsical costume Easter Bunnies.
“We’re already a crowd favourite – we’re loving the feedback we’re getting and have kids flocking to take part in the Easter egg hunt. This is something I’ve wanted to bring to the Royal Easter Show for years. So it’s very exciting to finally be doing it. It looks so beautiful and gives kids the excitement of collecting squishy Easter eggs that they can then trade for sweet treats as they leave the maze,” said creator Lauren Short, who is the fifth generation of her family to help bring the magic of Easter to the show.
Running for the duration of the show the beautiful maze setting and Easter Hunt is located on the Corner of the Grand Parade and Olympic Boulevard.
The Royal Egg Hunt has children (and parents) hop in via an arch to hunt through a beautiful maze setting to find squishy eggs that can be traded for sweets as they depart the maze.
Location: Corner Grand Parade and Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Showgrounds.
Dates: Throughout the Royal Easter Show – Until April 2nd
Time: 9am – 9:30pm – for a full day of fun!
The enchanted maze is the centre piece of the egg-cellent Easter Egg Hunt, sending kids exploring through twists and turns to discover hidden squishy eggs – with professional photos available, as well as the opportunity to take your own insta worthy shots.
