Honey BBQ Bourbon Bits

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• 4 pieces of chicken Maryland (leg and thigh together)
• BBQ sauce
• Honey
• Chilli
• Apple cider Vinegar
• Your choice of Whisky
How It’s Done
1. Give your chicken pieces a quick coat of olive oil and place them on your cooking coals. Flip the chicken regularly so they don’t get too crispy.
2. In a separate pan, add your BBQ sauce and honey and place over low heat, and stir regularly to infuse the honey.
3. Add a dash of apple cider vinegar to the sauce, along with a good dollop of your favourite whisky and stir.
4. When the chicken looks almost cooked, start lavishly basting with your marinade every couple of minutes.
5. Serve the chicken when its properly cooked through, and the marinade has turned to a super tasty and sticky glaze.
