BBQ Satay Skewers – Recipe

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Chicken breast

• Bamboo Skewers

• Olive oil

• Peanut Butter

• Siracha sauce

• Garlic (minced)

• Ginger

• Soy

• Honey

• Pineapple

• Salt

• Water

HOW IT’S DONE

1. Start by soaking your bamboo skewers in cold water. This will stop the wood from burning while they are cooking.

2. Combine peanut butter with a good splash of soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger and siracha sauce into a saucepan. with some water and bring to a simmer.

3. Add half a cup of water to begin with and bring to a simmer while stirring the mix regularly.

4. While the sauce is gently simmering, start making your chicken skewers by threading the cubed chicken breast onto the skewers alternating between 2 pieces of chicken to 1 piece of pineapple

5. Season with salt and cook the skewers on the BBQ or over a campfire grill until done.

6. Serve the skewers with the peanut sauce and get ready for the compliments coming your way – they’re always a hit!
