Hema Nav now providing track guidance and turn-by-turn navigation on explorer maps

Hema has just launched Hema Nav, introducing offroad track guidance for remote travel and voice guided turn-by-turn navigation for on-road, compatible with Hema’s award-winning range of explorer maps.

Available in a range of Hema devices, including the HX-2, HX-2+ and AMHXD3, the new Hema Nav system provides travellers a faster and more intuitive way to interact with their extensive library of touring and explorer maps.

A new version of the Hema Nav is for HXD-N users is underway.  

According to Hema, Hema Nav was extensively tested by the Hema Map Patrol and Alpha Teams ahead of the launch.

Supporting Existing Devices

The release of the Hema Nav platform is timely, following the cessation of Hema Cloud services and the 4X4 Explorer App in September 2024.

Hema Maps will, as a result, provide the Hema 4WD Maps application bundled with the Hema Nav update on all existing compatible devices.

Hema Maps are also developing new applications and a cloud solution, which will be available in the first quarter of 2025.
