Great Ocean Road Tourist Park
There were no complaints when we were given the absolute prime positions on the Curdies River at the beautiful Great Ocean Road Tourist Park in Peterborough. The view is spectacular, the river beautiful and this little corner of the park is as peaceful as you’d ever want.
This park is located on the corner of Irvine Street and The Great Ocean Road in Peterborough, the perfect place to explore some of the most iconic tourist attractions like the 12 Apostles, Otway Fly and Flagstaff Hill close by.
The accommodation, should you not be towing your home on wheels is immaculate. The cabins range budget and style with a beautiful 2-bedroom river-front cabin that includes a gas log fireplace for those chilly nights being my favourite in the bunch.
The facilities are great – clean and modern – and if you’re not congregating in the camp kitchen with its fireplace, television and plenty of cooking and cleaning facilities, meeting and chatting to like-minded tourists, then you’re not taking full advantage of this wonderful park.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Great Ocean Road Tourist Park, we found the managers and staff so friendly, the facilities 2nd to none and the location so convenient that we will be returning as soon as possible.
