Dunkeld Caravan Park – Comfy, Cosy and Clean

Erin Hinchcliffe and her partner have this caravan park thing down pat.  They have created a serene, somewhat quirky little haven for visitors to rest their weary bones.

Offering a small array of cabins from the budget deal up to the two-bedroom Villa there is certainly something that will suit you and your family.

The sites on offer are powered or unpowered and there are plenty of camping sites.

The beauty in this park, in part is that it’s simple, in a good way.  No bells and whistles as it doesn’t want to detract from its amazing location.  Dunkeld is considered the gateway to the Grampians and you can see why when you sit around one of the campfires dotted around the park.  The views are breathtaking and it won’t take you long before you’re exploring the local region.

But before you head out the gate take a look at the eclectic art that’s dotted around the park.  It will make you giggle at times and in other cases, if you’re anything like me, make you feel a little nostalgic as there’s plenty of my childhood hidden in the gardens of this very quaint caravan park.
