The Pet friendly Omeo Caravan Park

There’s nothing like a big, warm welcome when you arrive at your next destination and that’s exactly what we got from Sam and Lou at Omeo Caravan Park.

Disrupted by the fires that went through the place early last year, plus the restrictions as a result of COVID-19, Omeo is now open for business and will welcome guests with open arms.

The park is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by rolling hills, with Livingston Creek running down the side boundary. It’s filled with beautiful trees and wonderful fresh air.

The sites on offer are a great size, big enough to pull any van in, and when the park isn’t full, you can spread out even more.

There is a myriad of other accommodation on offer if you don’t come equipped with your own. The glamping tent is a great idea but there are also plenty of cabins to choose from

depending on your needs. Cabins sleep from two people right up to eight!

An innovative project at the park recently has been the acquisition and painting of some retro caravans. These caravans are set up and available for hire for those looking for the real caravanning experience.

All in all, Omeo Caravan Park is a delightful park in a delightful area. Pets are welcome in the park, the creek is a great spot for trout fishing and there’s a fully licensed kiosk at the park.
