The Gibb Challenge 2024

The Gibb Challenge is an annual, socially competitive, team relay mountain bike event raising community awareness and funds for charity. It is a peerless outback cycling adventure, tracing the iconic Kimberley stock route of the Gibb River Road from the deep port town of Derby, through the vast pastoral leases of the central and east Kimberley and on to the community celebrations of the Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster.

Since the event’s inception in 2007, they have raised more than $9M for their charity partners that includes; WA Police Legacy, Ryan Marron Foundation, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Sirens of Silence and Kyle Andrews Foundation.

Team places are strictly limited to enhance participant safety with 300 riders from every state and territory in Australia invited to enjoy a life defining Kimberley adventure with overnight camping and fellowship at:

  • Imintji Community – Sunday 11 May, 2024
  • Mount Elizabeth Station – Monday 12 May, 2024
  • Ellenbrae Station – Tuesday 13 May, 2024
  • Home Valley Station – Wednesday 14 May, 2024
  • El Questro Wilderness Park – Thursday 15 May, 2024

Join us……….or bloody well avoid us. 300 lycra clad locusts swarming in a dusty peloton may cause some minor disruptions to your travel plans, but please be kind. We’re raising money for The Kyle Andrews Foundation and their support of bloody heroic West Aussie kids fighting childhood illnesses.
