There is often new innovations at the caravan shows around the country but Perth Caravan and Camping show threw up a complete surprise, Vintage Village.

Vintage Village is a passion project for its curator Mick Flavel. He has collected a number of caravans dating as far back as 1936.

Its Mick’s goal to preserve as many of these vans as possible and open a museum where people will be able to go and wonder through his collection.

As a nod to the past Mick doesn’t even have a website – yet.  So, for now you will have to keep your eyes peeled at the caravan shows around the country if you want to get a look at these fantastic relics of the past.
