More tip-offs @Melbourne Leisurefest 2024

2024 Melbourne Leisurefest is proving to be a real bumper in terms of new models fitted with exciting new features. So, after two days inspecting the floor, we’ve compiled a second sneak peek of the kinds of innovations you can find on show and help you plan your day.

See our initial show finds here!

Site 414: Highclere Sanctuary w/ new Chassis

Here’s a lovely new van featuring a pantry that’s accessible indoors and out that’s equipped with a large bathroom. The contrasting black vinyl trim is softened by the muted timber-like floors and grey palette. Off-grid-wise, the Highclere Sanctuary is fitted with 24V Victron power and rides on a laser cut new chassis that offers ample clearance and a well matched ride height for popular tow vehicles.

Site 517: True timber tops in this nimble Van Cruisers X-Diesel Machine 19

Not on debut per se but new none-the-less, a plush off-road off-grid van with actual timber tops from Van Cruiser–with a bench extension. With pinstripe panelling on the bed head and a black splashback, the Van Cruiser X-Diesel Machine 19 was a blockbuster, sales wise, according to Caravan HQ. And for its 19ft footprint, the bathroom’s an absolute beauty.

Site 7: Jayco introduces Discovery range

Jayco is introducing the Discovery with a completely new front and warm toned exterior.

Internally, we see curtains, recessed grip profiles on the cabinet doors, which I haven’t seen before, in choice of blue or a gunshot green.

Site 400: Ezytrail new Airlie tourer-friendly range

Ezytrail continues to expand into the caravan market with a range of luxury tourers dubbed the semi off-road Airlie range–six models, five of which are full height vans ranging from 11ft to 22ft internal layout.

Though clearly caravans, the semi off-road Airlie lineup retains a lovely indoor-outdoor flow with inclusions like the open pantry opposite the front door here in the Airlie 18 Twin.

Site 401: Fibreglass & North South bed @Goldstream

Goldstream introduces sharp new fibreglass cladding for this sweet yet tough 1860 Panther pop-top. The chassis and lower skirt on the van are finished in tough anti-chip coating. But check out the stylish interior.

Also new, a north-south facing bed and bunk, in the 2030 Adventurer. Both models shown here are fitted with Cruisemaster XT Stage 3 airbag system.

Site 1: Fully insulated Snowy River SRP18 w/ electric elevating pop-top

In the new SRP18, Snowy River introduces an electric-raising roof with a manual override, considerable insulation on the pop-top skirt plus an aluminium frame with fiberglass and high density APX foam composite panels for the floor, walls and ceiling. For a pop-top it’s got a lot of storage, too.
