JAYCO LAUNCHES NATIONWIDE SEARCH FOR ROVING CORRESPONDENT

What if your job description read: Travel Australia, create content, live in a luxury RV and get paid for it? Jayco, Australia’s largest recreational vehicle manufacturer, has launched a recruitment hunt for a Caravan Correspondent — a once-in-a-lifetime dream position for one lucky applicant.

The successful new-recruit (or duo, or family!) will be handed the keys to a fully-equipped Jayco campervan or motorhome to live in temporarily and paid to hit the road full-time for up to 12 months, capturing the magic of Australia’s most iconic and hidden destinations.

Forget the 9-to-5. This is a job that pays you to live the dream.

“This is more than a logistics gig. We want to find someone who can help capture content of our beautiful country and inspire Australians to hit the road and explore their own backyard,” says Scott Jones, National Head of Sales and Marketing at Jayco. “Whether you’re a first-time caravanner or a seasoned roamer, if you’ve got a passion for storytelling, we want to hear from you.”

What’s on offer:

● A luxury Jayco RV to call your mobile home while on the job

● A salary + travel allowance

● The opportunity to explore Australia’s coastlines, outback towns, rainforests and deserts

● A brief that literally says: create content, chase sunsets, and make memories

● A role that could skyrocket your personal brand or kickstart a career in travel media

● Camera gear, a phone and laptop – all supplied by Jayco

Jayco is encouraging applications from individuals, couples or families who are natural storytellers with a love of adventure. Social media savvy is a must but having prior RV experience is not.

“This role is about personality and passion, not perfection,” adds Scott Jones. “We’ll teach you everything you need to know about RV life. You bring the energy — and we’ll provide the tools to help you tell your story.”

To apply, aspiring Caravan Correspondents are asked to submit a 60-second video showing off their creativity, personality, and love for travel, along with a few photos or content samples and a short resume.

Applications are open now at https://www.jayco.com.au/jayco-correspondent-job-listing.

This is your chance to swap your desk chair for the driver’s seat and make Australia your office.
