Country on Keppel Unveils Star-studded Artist Lineup: Casey Barnes, Beccy Cole, and More

Country music lovers, mark your calendars! The highly anticipated Country on Keppel festival is back for its fifth year, promising three days of toe-tapping tunes and unforgettable memories against the stunning backdrop of Woppa Great Keppel Island.
From July 12 – 14th, 2024, immerse yourself in the heart and soul of country music at this iconic event.

Festival-goers can look forward to an electrifying lineup of artists, headlined by the incomparable Casey Barnes and the ever-charming Beccy Cole, both making their debut appearances at Country on Keppel. Joining them will be none other than music legend James Blundell, returning to captivate audiences once again, alongside Golden Guitar winner Lyn Bowtell, who made her unforgettable debut at Keppel in 2023.

Also gracing the stage for the first time at Country on Keppel is the five-time Golden Guitar winner Ashleigh Dallas, ready to leave the Tamworth frosts behind for the warm embrace of Great Keppel Island. Meanwhile, festival favourite Brad Butcher returns for his third Country on Keppel performance, accompanied by the talented Danny Phegan and Chloe Styler.

Adding a local flair to the lineup, we are thrilled to welcome back Kate Mahood, who enchanted audiences last year, and the lively party band Coighty and the Kickstands. And let’s not forget our 2023 winner of the Green Brothers Country on Keppel Peter Blundell Memorial Talent Search, Keely Ellen from Bundaberg, who will impress with her talents and show just how much she’s grown over the past year.

Festival Manager Kelly Harris, Group Manager of Great Keppel Island Hideaway, is excited about this year’s line-up of artists.

“We’re thrilled to announce such an incredible lineup for Country on Keppel 2024,” he said.

“With a mix of seasoned performers and exciting newcomers, this year’s festival promises to be our best yet. Get ready for three days of unforgettable music and unforgettable experiences against the breathtaking backdrop of Great Keppel Island.”

In addition to the stellar lineup, aspiring country artists will have the opportunity to shine in the 2024 Green Brothers Country on Keppel Peter Blundell Memorial Talent Search.

Entries open today, offering aspiring musicians the chance to receive mentoring from Golden Guitar winners, win a Takamine guitar and road case, and secure performance opportunities at this year’s and next year’s festivals.
