It makes me a little sad to write this story because when we filmed this it was in between the bush fires that nearly wiped out Dargo and the pandemic which has pretty much decimated the tourism industry.

It was with great passion that Macca and Hally from the famous Dargo pub pleaded with everyone to return to Dargo, that it was open for business and that the community needed visitors after the bushfires turned so many away.

Well, a lot has change since then. As I sit here, writing this piece, Victorian country has re- opened thank goodness. This means country folk can visit country folk and we hope that they do.
