Camp up alongside What’s Up Downunder & follow real travellers on our FNQ ‘Trip of A Lifetime’
Keen to catch up with the What’s Up Downunder crew? Why not camp up alongside us as Macca takes four social media-savvy couples and families under his wing during a whirlwind Far North Queensland ‘Trip of A Lifetime’ Tour.
Network 10’s What’s Up Downunder is teaming up with Everything Caravan & Camping (Australia’s largest members-only Caravan & Camping Facebook Group) and GM Specialty Vehicles for this four-episode special event, with filming commencing May 21 till the 5th of June at four beautiful G’day Parks on the Queensland Coast.
Towing their own vans
Our four very lucky influencer couples and families are primed for a spoiling, each jumping behind the wheel of a GM Specialty Vehicles Silverado for the duration of this TRIP OF A LIFETIME from Airlie Beach to Cairns, towing their own vans. Everything Caravan & Camping will be sharing our adventures so why not check out their facebook page or subscribe to their newsletter for great deals on camping gear!
Did I hear special guests?
What is actually happening on the trip is anyone’s guess with the production company Parable Productions’ inner circle keeping the tour program under wraps: our influencers are in for a few surprises–most of the crew won’t know what is happening from one day to the next until it happens! But there are whispers that some special guests might be making a cameo appearance.

Aussie Destinations Unknown
In October 202, Chris and Miriam packed up the house, sold everything that didn’t fit into their caravan, and said goodbye to what was their normal life. Whilst it was already on the cards – the world pandemic sped up the decision to make the change.
A lot has happened since then as they have built a solid online fan base of adventure travellers across multiple channels, also becoming brand ambassadors for Titanium Caravans, and even What’s Up Downunder’s great mates at GM Specialty Vehicles and the very awesome Silverado HD LTZ.
4 Boys & a Caravan
Tom and Aimee sold their house in Melbourne back in 2017 to adventure ‘full-time’ around Australia with their 4 boys. They have a Leader Caravan and are now their brand ambassadors, they are also brand ambassadors of long time friends of the What’s Up Downunder team – Caravanning with Kids. Their whole goal as influencers is to inspire others to get out there, see Australia and live their best life.
The Lifestyle Pioneers
Simon and Liz along with their 2 boys are as down to earth as they come! Now travelling full time on the road and loving it – it’s all about adventure for these guys and wanting to know what’s around the next corner or what’s over the next hill! These guys are towing a 20ft Zone RV, a caravan that they chose very carefully before their big trip – The Lifestyle Pioneers live up to their name, the audience are going to love this family. Inspiration, education and equipment to create a life less ordinary is their motto.
Wandering Panda Coffee Van
Kristen and Vegas, and their amazing Great Dane, Bacon are something else. We first met these guys whilst shooting our summer series last year in Phillip Island. These guys are relatively new to the Influencer game but have jumped in with both feet. Vegas is an Indigenous artist who creates and sells amazing pieces as they travel around Australia, and both of them run a coffee shop out of the part of the van that they don’t sleep in! Their adventures might be just beginning – but all of Australia will fall in love with these guys just like we have.
