The Alice Springs Camel Cup is an event held every year at Alice Springs on the 14th of July. More than just a novelty event, it has been held since 1970, and it brings in a large crowd of all ages for a day of fun and excitement.

What started as a bet between two mates has turned into one of the biggest events in Alice Springs. The races have expanded and now feature belly dancers, kids races on hobby horses, fashion competitions and more.
