Bluesfest at Byron Bay is a world renowned music festival, and I don’t just mean that people all over the world want to go, but musicians from all over the world want to be invited to perform at Bluesfest. During the course of the festival we heard a number of overseas artists saying that they were incredibly grateful to be playing there as they had been trying to ‘get a gig’ there for some years.

I’m sure you are already aware that Bluesfest is held at Byron Bay, well not actually ‘in’ Byron Bay anymore, but very close to Byron Bay at a fabulous festival facility at Tyagarah. This incredible location hosts a number of festival style events and is very well set up to do so.

You can choose to attend the festival for the whole five days, as we did, or you can elect to go for three days or even for one day. So, if you happen to be passing through during the festival and you know that one of your favourites is playing the next day, you can turn up and buy a ticket at the gate for that day. Having said that you get the best value if you plan ahead and take advantage of the early-bird sales. They are even selling tickets now for next year!
