Toilet Tidy

Andrew asked: Has anyone made their own shelf across this space, looking for options in ensuite to store toiletry bags etc. Love fusion lock but not on that wall as it’s an external thin ply wall so thinking a simple white shelf between the sides anchored to the vanity and side wall.

Andrew got two shelf suggestions and the third wasn’t a shelf but a drying rack over the toilet window.

Hitched or Unhitched?

David posted: I am towing my caravan off grid, a day here and there (actually it been 2wks now). But I am leaving the van connected to the Ute. Ball weight around 320kg. Just wondering, can this damage the Ute springs, shock absorbers or tow bar. My partner brought this to my attention. My tow bar says it’s good for 350kg ball weight, 3500kg for towing.

General consensus was that it’s a good idea to take the weight of the tow ball by just putting the jack down, but stay hitched.

Today I burnt my Akubra!

Ann posted: I always thought of decorating it, because i think there are enough hats out there that all look the same. Which I find … boring  . So I sat down, used a heat-away craft pen to draw the outlines, then heated up the soldering iron and took a deep breath. But what could go wrong other than burning a couple of hundred dollars?
