JAYCO SILVERLINE ENTHUSIASTS AUSTRALIA

Neil posted: “Flapping noisy slide-out awning problem fixed. All remedies I have seen had the drawback that if one forgot to remove them prior to sliding in, damage would occur. My fix means that if I did I forget, the balloons burst, no damage.”

SPINIFEX CARAVAN OWNERS

A word to the wise for every caravanner. This can happen to every brand, unless you follow Peter’s advice: Just a reminder if you change a wheel to check the wheel nuts before this happens. Thanks to the fellow spins who stopped to see if we’re OK.”

No photos with this one, but the problem goes across all vans, and the answer is so simple–and it works!

Colleen posted “Hi All, has anyone had success removing soft scratch marks from windows on vans please? Obviously we were too close to some branches, ta.”

Lennie answered: “Toothpaste.”

Posted for a friend! It bought out the best and worst in people. Problem was solved when people who had lost the towball went and bought another one.

LOTUS CARAVAN OWNERS GROUP

Jacqui posted: This is a decorating post. I love our new second-hand Lotus 186 Trooper. But I really disliked the brown splashback. So we jumped on the Tic Tac Tiles bandwagon. It was way harder than the easy just peel and stick directions.

There was cutting, and it had some furry edges, there were angles, there were air bubbles, there were “oh whoops”. There was some oh well that’s close enough, there was even some ahh I can live with that just the way it is. It made the van so much brighter and looks more open just from the one splash back area. I think it was worth the money and the effort.
