Came across these at Stratco and bang on for a colour match. They are discontinuing this brand soon and have these cans out for half price at $3.50 so I stocked up. Cheers Nev

John posted: I have a December 2022 X-terrain series 2. Does anyone know what the middle switch does (see picture). Top one operates the under-trailer light (blue) and bottom one operates the step lights. Walked all around the outside and checked the tunnel and no lights were on.
Chris replied: We have one too that doesn’t do anything. I asked George while at Urban; he told me it’s for the awning light and if we don’t have a light the wiring is there behind some silicon above the rear awning bracket in case we need it.
Cony posted: G’day from the Quarantine station at the Vic/SA border. I had a question here a while back about the ins and outs of taking stuff across and we’ve done it now and survived! I got quite anxious about it all especially about the precious honey jars we brought back from Tassie. After several calls to the DPI to get a definite answer it turns out you can bring honey AS LONG AS it is not RAW. It must have ingredients listed on the label. Also, I had a couple of pieces of Huon Pine from Tassie and they’re fine. As long as there is no soil on it. We had some plant cuttings in a pit from a friend’s yard which we had to ditch so respect to the efforts to keep fruitfly out of the growing industry of SA … I GOT MY HONEY OVER and that was awesome.

A big discussion a few days ago on this site about whether to have a north/south bed, or an east/west bed. I was a little concerned when the group agreed on two things – 1. More room around the bed. 2. Far easier to make than a north/south. And then it all fell into place with a photo showing an island east/west bed. A third benefit was found – it’s fabulous to wake up in the morning, have a coffee in bed looking out the window at the day. Island east/west beds have a lot going for them. Alison

Answer is that you plug it into the USB post on your computer, it’s got all the user manuals for the van on it. What a brilliant idea, so much better than taking all that paper away with you. Well done Crusader. Alison

There were a lot of paint suggestions. Another one was to lower the Stone Stomper a little to stop the stones flicking up. Alison

Lindsay posted: Had the wheel alignment and camber checked /adjusted on our van this morning. The front axle was “out by a fair bit” according to the guys that checked it, “but not not as bad some of the cheaper brands”. The rear axle was much better. The numbers in the grey boxes are before and the numbers in the white are after. Not criticising Lotus or G&S just sharing the results. As the suspension has locking bolts and nuts they are of the opinion that it shouldn’t need adjusting again too much again in the future.
Paul posted: Our first addition/modification to our Phoenix
An extra solar panel to add to the 4 already installed. Couldn’t get installed during build (our fault not Sunland’s). The 4 x 180w panels on the Phoenix turned out to be labelled 200w (see photo) so was able to source a 200w panel with same specs and dimensions here in Darwin. Got Ben from Sunland service to send me the pre-made aluminium bracket ($80 + postage) and got details of sealant/adhesive used also. Wired the panel to the existing panel over the galley and now we have (theoretically) 1000w of solar power. Charged the 450 AH batteries from 65% to 100% before 11.00am next day. Caravan stationary no other inputs. Typical Darwin wet season weather broken cloud and passing showers. Got to be happy with that.
Peter posted: When I first got the nova bravo van the electrician had this switch out while he was working on things. Now I can’t remember what appliance it switches on and off…. Can anybody advise…. It should be easy but I can’t find anything it works on.

Debbie posted” Hi guys just needing some help. We haven’t used the oven or stove at all yet as it only got connected to gas a few days ago. I noticed this copper piece sticking out. Please see pics, it doesn’t seem right. I will contact lavista Monday if need be but looking for an answer today as I was planning on using it.
Answer was the thermostat, which may have been left sticking out after testing, but can be pushed back against the oven wall. Alison
