Great Mod for Dust and Bugs!
Sandra posted: Hey Guys. First time staying at a caravan park (normally camp off grid) I have plugged our water hose in and turned the switch to Mains but I’m finding we have no water pressure. Can anyone help me with any suggestions. Thank you. Our van is Tungsten X-Terrain.

Best technical hack – Turn it off, turn it on!
I’m off grid for the first time tonight …. My fridge is not settling onto batteries or gas…
I’ve tried it on auto, batts and gas. All have flashing and errors. I have a fridge and freezer full of food and don’t want to loose it! Gas is on and works at stove and hot water.
Any ideas????
Plenty of replies, but so many saying first step is to turn it off and then back on – usually works a treat.

Winter Warmers!
Linda posted: I ask this question with great hesitation … but let’s face it, if you own a Crusader, you’re definitely a “glamper” Are there many glampers here who use an electric blanket in their van for cold nights in winter?
There were a range of positive answers, perhaps the best was

Picture Perfect Table.
The long and the short of this post is that the usual table didn’t work when they were on their laptops so they made a new one which expands when they are working. Perfect.

Steve posted: Good Morning, my exterior walls are starting to fade on my Trax. What polish / cleaner is everyone using to bring them back to life? TIA
Plenty of answers but the main one was to get it vinyl wrapped! Alison

It’s a Step Up not a Falling Down!
Judy posted: Heads up- Check your step mechanisms. It has been bought to my attention that a few more owners have had their step collapse due to a broken or missing rivet. Please check your steps for wear and tear and I would suggest replacing if you think it’s a risk. You get no warning before it breaks.
This is an issue across brands, so it’s a great idea for everyone to check their steps. Thanks Judy for sharing it with us. Alison

Asleep at the Wheel!
Joanne posted: On Friday we were driving on the Stuart Hwy at Wycliffe Well when a Toyota Hi Lux was coming straight at us. We could see the young driver was asleep at the wheel. Rick managed to get the car out of the way but our van or his car wasn’t so lucky. The good news is we, and the young lad, are all ok besides very shaken, somehow we are still mobile. We are both very impressed with our Snowy how it behaved after it was hit and how strong they are built.’

Buzz Lightyear hits the road!
Jodie posted: Thank you to everyone who posted pics and offered ideas for an extra bed for Master 3 to join us in the great outdoors in our Oz Classic! We had the foam insert made from Foamforhome and they delivered it to our house. Hubby cut the board and put rubber on the edge so it wouldn’t rub on the cupboard. We unscrewed the table…it will go back on easily when he’s not with us. Bring on the adventures 😀

Unroll it before you plug it in!!
Lance posted this very important information.

Shoe Hiding Hack
Barry posted: Someone was asking about shoe storage but the comments have been turned off. Here is our set up. When opened the shoes are accessible from under the bed. It folds up and locks into place when travelling. You can walk around the bed without stubbing your toes. Works for us.

Twas a real hard slog
That walk to the bog
The call got quite strong
So I started to jog
Just thru the park
And over a log
I found a sign said:
“You’re welcome to bog”
So in I then went
My penny unspent
All ready to go
But wouldn’t ya know
The bog was yet host
To a curious dog
