Jatz the blue screen!

Nigel posted “Does anyone know any way to turn off the backlit Odysee screen? It’s on all night! Hopefully there’s a way out there please?”

Lots of suggestions involving buttons and settings, but perhaps the Jatz was the most attractive. Alison

Clipping the spices!

Miranda was looking for help with solving the storage of the top cupboard to stop things moving around in there. Judi was way more interested in the clips holding the spice jars in place.

Highline Caravan Owners Group

Star or Hawk?

Mixed comments on Nighthawk, but most in support of the product. Some people with it have added an external ariel. Others say all you need is a whiff of 5G and it works. Alison

Air bag confusion.

Darren posted “Hi all, just picked up my Spinifex and trying to sort out how this air bag system works. Does anyone have a pic with all these switches labelled?”

Owen replied “Little switch is compressor on /off, switches either side are air supply to left side/right side, slides either side of gauge are for raising/lowering either side when you are leveling van when parked.”

Suggestions included cupboard suction locks on the outside. Maybe a bed rail across the window on the inside.

I’ve had enough of the fading hatch doors on my 2017 lotus trooper.

Flameout included!

Greg posted: “BBQ legal at last. We rely on our BBQ to be our oven as well as outside cooking. Got tired of waiting on Webber to provide a retrofit flameout device for the Q. When neighbors at a recent RV gathering told the story of their Baby Q fire we decided to act. Our new Smith BBQ is fully compliant and cooks pizzas to perfection. Recommend it to anyone.

Best Fix Ever!

Bevan posted: For the last 4-5 years La Vista Caravans has been installing this simple device onto your ensuite door. If your van hasn’t had one fitted I recommend that you do so to avoid the door rollers coming lose from the constant vibration. They’re available at Bunnings for a couple of bucks and could save you some frustration. Simple easy 5 minute fix. Just has to be firm enough so as to hold the door firm. This fixes your roller door problems.

This is a common problem across all brands with a roller door. What a great idea to fix it. Alison
