Made to Fit
Leslea posted: I have made a custom fitted quilt for our Daintree. All applique and machine embroidery. Shaped to fit with the bed raising and lowering, avoiding the cupboards. It tucks under at the mattress foot.
Cuppa anyone?
Thanks to ‘ontheroad’ for sharing your local favourite, Lake Barrine Teahouse – the views look absolutely majestic. We’ve been told the cakes and Devonshire Tea for brekky and lunch are delicious and the nearby walking track is not to be missed!

Google BAD Goodle!
Graham posted: Never rely on Google to lead you into the unknown. At the Mary Kathleen mine camp site it took us on a short cut back to the main highway as seen in the photos. Result: one bent step and two damaged rear struts.

Noisy Pump NO MORE!
Brett posted: Recently someone asked about upgrading a noisy pump. I replaced a Jetflow pump with a Seaflow Rv Supreme Mk2. Now when I turn on the ensuite sink and if you deliberately tune into the noise of the pump, when the tap is running you can just hear the pump. The water flow noise is louder!

Awning Arm Capote
Felicity posted: had one of these break on their awning arm? Where can I get a replacement? Answer – go back to Aussie Traveller, awning supplier.
Off the Ground
Russell posted: I wanted the inline water filter off the ground but not permanently attached to the drawbar. I fashioned some steel angle brackets with high density foam to attach the clips to. These brackets slip snugly over the drawbar and are easily removed. They can also be slipped over the rear bumper.
Clean it to save it.
Peter posted: Difficulty unplugging due to a burnt out pin with plastic housing melted. Auto electrician said dust, grit can cause this. Although car and van have spring dust covers he suggested we regularly clean van pin centres with Stanley knife blade and old tooth brush to avoid it reoccurring
Line Adrift!
Rosemary asked: How to repair blind, with the line that has come adrift? Angela replied
Something I discovered it’s not needed….pain to fix just pulled it out, all works as expected
