The What’s Up Downunder team sadly acknowledge the passing of former Caravan Industry Victoria Association (CTIA) CEO Wayne O’Brien, who tragically fell from heights while assisting a neighbour.

A true innovator, Wayne wowed audiences by introducing the BOAT-a-Home as a caravan show attraction in 1986 before enticing them to exhibits upstairs in 1989 for a chance to win a Nissan Patrol and Jayco Camper, later acknowlegded as the local caravan industry’s very first Passport to Freedom.
