Caravans sold at the Victorian Caravan & Camping Virtual Show

Holidaymakers embraced Caravan Industry Victoria’s (CIV) inaugural virtual event, purchasing caravans “as a direct result” of the Victorian Caravan & Camping Virtual Show.

“We found the Virtual Show to be productive and beneficial to our sales yard Escape RV’s,” explains Bobi Petrusevski, General Manager, Masterpiece Caravans.

According to Bobi, guests purchased five caravans at or following visits to its Escape RV’s booths which had Vacationer, Masterpiece and Silver Valley caravans on display.

High booth visitation rates suggest many punters easily navigated CIV’s inaugural show, partnered with RV Online.

BROWSING HIGH AT THE VICTORIAN CARAVAN & CAMPING VIRTUAL SHOW

Browsing and interest was high at the Victorian Caravan & Camping Virtual Show, with 67,000+ guests viewing brochures 170,000+ times at 164 booths.

Guests clicked on videos more than 124,000 times. And confidently moved around the hall stopping in at booths more than 200,000 times.

In fact, attendees and exhibitors are already asking the association to run another virtual show.

“What was pleasantly surprising was the number of sales through the virtual show and people even bought caravans,” explains Rob Lucas, Chief Executive, CIV.

Yesterday, the association issued a statement thanking guests for attending.

“We hoped you enjoyed the show from the comfort of our own home,” it read.
