As situations surrounding outbreaks of COVID-19 unfold, the CCIA NSW has made the difficult decision to cancel the Canberra Expo, slated for October 22-24.

“NO OTHER CHOICE”

“Having to cancel the upcoming Canberra Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo was very unfortunate indeed; however, with the significant and growing COVID-19 challenges in NSW (and now ACT) we had no other choice,” says Lyndel Gray – CEO of the Caravan Camping Industry Association of NSW.

CHALLENGING FOR ALL EVENT ORGANISERS

Lyndel describes the COVID-19 outbreaks as “enormously challenging for all event organisers” who are navigating the current conditions.

“All our events have very long lead times and we simply could not move forward with planning the Canberra expo with any certainty at this time.”

CONTINUED COMMITMENT

Despite the current challenges, CCIA NSW is still very much committed to showcasing the very best in caravan-camping to the Nation’s Capital community.

“We remain fully committed to continuing to deliver our quality caravan and camping events and look forward to staging a great show in Canberra in October 2022.”
