Following an illustrious career in the caravanning industry as a caravan park owner, journalist and print and digital magazine editor, What’s Up Downunder’s very own editor-at-large Alison Huth, has taken top honours at the Caravan Industry Association of Australia (CCIA) National Conference, hosted on the Gold Coast. 

30 years of friendships, love and opportunities

In front of a packed audience, CCIA CEO Stuart Lamont invited Alison to the stage to receive the Eric Hayman OAM Award for Excellence 2022. According to Alison, the award came at a complete shock “I nearly fell off my chair!”.

At the podium, she credited the industry for 30 years of friendships, love and opportunities.

“I am so proud to accept this award. Thank-you so much to everyone.”
