Van Cruiser equips 2025 Outlaw with Terraglide suspension

The Outlaw is enjoying an uplift for 2025, with Van Cruiser equipping this Outlaw Bronco with a 24V power system, 1000W in solar, a coffee machine and the TerraGlide suspension for greater stability.

TerraGlide Suspension

Automotive enthusiasts maybe familiar with the road hugging qualities of the TerraGlide system, a “semi-independent trailing arm” modelled on some popular fourbie suspensions–standard on the Van Cruiser Outlaw Bronco.

It’s tricky to explain but the shape of the axles means that the wheels’ trailing arms attach at different heights (check out the photo), so the axle is less affected proportionately by wheel travel for smoother towing. It’s also fitted with anti-roll bars for cornering stability.

Urban commissioned Premcar to build it and its development was co-funded by a few fellow RV manufacturers. We ran a feature on the technology involved here.

Outdoor Living

The coffee machine forms part of a comprehensive outdoor setting including a pull out kitchen with a circular sink alongside an induction cooktop. That’s powered by the Van Cruiser Outlaw Bronco’s mighty powered spec comprising 24V Victron power system with twin 150Ah @24V batteries. Notably, all 240V outlets indoors and out are hooked up to the 5000W inverter powering just about any portable household appliance off-grid.

Natural Finishes

Inside, Van Cruiser favours natural timber and stone timbers adopting open shelving to create open yet divided spaces in a nimble, compact setting.
