Jamie Johnson (Essential Caravans) and Jason Wylie (Design RV) have just acquired Premium Queensland caravan manufacturer Sunland Caravans. Jamie extended an offer to Sunland Founder Roy Wyss at the CIAA National Conference Gala Dinner, where Sunland and Essential took out first and third place respectively as the People’s Choice Manufacturer of the Year.

Already in semi-retirement, Roy Wyss announced the sale to his staff when he formally stepped down as General Manager, assuring that their jobs were secure and the current CEO Tarrot Wyss would remain.

New owners Jamie and Jason plan to keep the brand. It is expected that the new owners will take over around mid September; however, Roy and Tess will continue to consult to the new owners.
