Highlights: Proven V8 Petrol powertrain + made for towing + 13 camera views
When it comes to power, performance, and personality wrapped up in a premium package, it’s impossible to look past the all-new Model Year 2025 GMC Yukon Denali.
“There’s no denying it’s a statement vehicle – with the Denali package, the Yukon offers customers the ultimate in premium finishes and performance,” said Jess Bala, Managing Director, GM Australia & New Zealand.
Proven V8 powertrain
“The GMC Yukon is the ultimate vehicle for families and groups who need to transport as many as eight people in comfort, safety, and style, combined with unheralded towing capability and luggage carrying ability.
“A powerful petrol V8 engine, luxurious interior, cavernous boot space are complemented with the latest in technology and safety systems to make the GMC Yukon Denali the latest ‘must have’ vehicle brought to you by GMSV.”
Scheduled to go on sale in the second quarter of next year (2025), GMSV has revealed further details regarding the specification of the new model.
At the heart of the GMC Yukon Denali is a 6.2-litre V8 petrol engine, delivering 313kW of power and 624Nm of torque – the same dependable and proven powertrain as found in the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 range. A tow rating will be released closer to launch, but the Yukon is anticipated to offer best-in-class towing.
13 Camera Views
Manoeuvring the Yukon in and out of tight confines is made easier thanks to the inclusion of up to 13 camera views which provide extra sets of eyes all around the vehicle.
Camera views include a surround view, front and rear views (including top-down views) and a hitch view with hitch guidance to help customers connect to their trailers with precision and more.
The various camera views are all displayed on the impressively large 16.8-inch diagonal tablet style infotainment screen. The infotainment screen, when not being used for camera projection, displays vehicle applications such as Apple CarPlayR, and wireless
Android AutoTM, vehicle settings, drive modes and more.
Seats to Fold Flat
In addition to seating for eight, the GMC Yukon Denali will offer a gargantuan 3,480-litres of cargo volume when the second and third row are lowered.
The seats all fold flat, making the interior space perfect for transporting large and bulky items.
If the full configuration of seats is in use, even the smallest of passengers have been considered – there are three ISOFIX points throughout the vehicle.
Fleet undergoing Local Testing
Real-world testing continues in Victoria with a fleet of engineering vehicles conducting local testing and validation ahead of the Q2 on-sale date.
Pricing for the new model is anticipated to be released later this year.
