Vacationer’s new 2025 DAKAR 229R with the club lounge looks ultra schmick, with the back saving Black Jack Trailer Jack up front, 48V 7kW off-grid power system, remodelled front toolboxes, outdoor entertainment hatch PLUS the Cruisemaster BCS airbag control system that automatically adjusts to suit the terrain and level up van at camp.

Geared for the Outdoors

As Vacationers’ top of the range spec, the luxurious 2025 Dakar has taken outdoor living up a notch, introducing an ultra large entertainment hatch for the 24in TV and large speaker.

There’s lots of smart external storage here for tables, chairs and more to fattening up the comfort factor for your happy hour camp. It’s here, to, where you can engage the Cruisemaster BMS airbag control system, which assesses the horizon automatically adjusts the ATX Unleashed 4.5T rated airbag suspension to level your camp.

Toolbox Refinements

In this 2025 variant we also see that Vacationer has refined the chip-proof toolbox shown with the powered back-saving Black Jack Trailer Jack that replaces the role of the manually-operated jockey wheel. There’s easy access to diesel for the heating and HWS and slides either side of the toolbox. There are even trays for small tools on the offside, which looks mighty handy. 

7.2kW off-grid power

The Dakar 2025 power spec, as shown, has got the lot. It runs a powerful Dyness 7.2kW battery bank supported by a kW of 48V solar panels and a 1.4kW DC-DC charger. The Victron Multiplus-II 5kW inverter offers fast 70A charging. Everything is controlled via a Garmin integrated digital panel that bluetooths to your mobile phone. It’s also wired ready for 5G.

Casually Opulent Interior

Vacationer has long supported the split bathroom and midship lounge configuration that’s enjoying a bit of Renaissance right now. Modern 2025 styling here includes marbling on the bench tops, concealed latches on the overhead cupboards, gold tap fittings and gold latches and a white deep sink. The mottled suede trims and pelmets complement the casually opulent palette.
