At the beginning of 2019 Lotus gave us an Off-Grid to use for our 10th season. We’ve taken this van to Tasmania, driven it from Melbourne to Cairns, taken it completely off grid through Cape York to the northern-most tip of Australia and of course, down the Great Ocean Road. And this little baby has not missed a beat.
Built on the ever-reliable G&S Chassis Control Rider Independent Suspension coupled with the G&S Chassis this van is well supported and will take anything – on or off road.
So yes, we’re sold on the Off-Grid but this isn’t the only van in the Lotus arsenal. There’s the Trooper, the Freelander and the Tremor – all total off-road vans and all as reliable as the Off-Grid that we’ve been travelling in.
Lotus vans come in various sizes and configurations including family options with two or three bunk beds. They are all fitted with great kitchens, bathrooms and have many of the comforts from home that have become synonymous with the Lotus brand.
Lotus also offer the option to design a van that best suits your needs but the truth is, we feel like they have all bases covered.
