INSPIRED FREEDOM

Is it Caravanning or Camping? That’s the burning question when people first view the Chameleon by Crusader.  Well, our opinion is that it’s pretty much both.

This spunky little van is absolutely suited to all sorts of travellers. If you want a caravan but towing a big rig is a little daunting, then this neat little package is perfect.  If you’re used to a tent and want to get off the ground, then again, this little package is perfect.

WHAT A SURPRISE

Externally you have to wonder what Crusader have managed to fit in to this compact van.  Take a step inside and you will discover everything.  Most models have twin beds that can convert into a double, a toilet, shower with hot wat, sink, bar fridge, kitchen sink, bench space, microwave and a good deal of storage.

Step outside and you’ll find a slide out kitchen, one or two 62 litre water tanks (depending on what size Chameleon you tow), front mounted toolbox, external shower, hot water system, full height entry/security door and a complete solar system for off the grid travel.

IN A NUTSHELL

Whether you enjoy weekends away surfing, mountain biking, fishing with friends or simply escaping the hustle of city life with your partner, make the Chameleon whatever you want it to be.

Built to last with fully-insulated one-piece composite floor, walls and roof, the Chameleon’s precision engineered design and configuration delivers multiple sleeping options, internal and external gas cooking, hot and cold-water storage for indoor and outdoor showering, internal ensuite with toilet and shower, internal fridge, and solar energy.

With a TARE weights between 950kg and 1400kg, built on a steel box chassis the Chameleon can be towed by most cars.  It’s height means it can be stored just about anywhere and with six options to choose from there’s no doubt there is one in their range for you.

DEALING WITH AN AWARD WINNER

Let’s face it, Crusader know their stuff.  As the Caravan Industry Victoria’s 2019 Manufacturer of the Year recipient they have gained a reputation for building reliable, stylish caravans with a back-up service that aims to please.
