Electric caravan manufacturers, Harvok, reflects on an epic 2022
Hear that reassuring ‘thunk’ of the security door on your caravan closing? That’s Harvok, rolling out car-like standards in electric caravan manufacturing.
Not only is the innovation winning the hearts and minds among the travelling public but industry heavy-weights as well, with Harvok’s most recent line-up, the fully-monocoque Suit of Armour range, celebrated at the illustrious Australian Good Design Awards 2022.
Robotically-built body & chassis, an eRV first
The eRV builders unveiled the Suit of Armour range in May, 2022, paving the way for three models with a combined body and chassis–cold-pressed and robotically welded–setting new bars in electric caravan manufacturing locally and abroad.
The technique requires no silicon, screws or joints of the walls for inherent rigidity and strength. As with all Harvok electric caravans, the Suit of Armour range underwent CFD analysis for aerodynamic towing optimising fuel efficiency and driver safety.
Three electric caravan models released in 2022
Two 19ft 6in caravan setups include Suit of Armour 1960 RD, a comfortable couples caravan with a traditional dinette, and the Suit of Armour 1960 FV with triple bunks. The third, a toy-hauler style, is the Camper Hub.

Growing network
Designed to withstand off-road conditions, all RVs within the Suit of Armour and Powerbank ranges feature a DO-35 coupling and independent trailing arm suspension.
All models feature 48V state-of-the-art power systems, 1000W in solar and high-powered inverters, supporting air-conditioning, induction cooking and gas-free living off-grid.
On the back of this innovation, the Harvok dealership network in 2022 also enjoyed growth, with the electric caravan Suit of Amour and Powerbank ranges available for inspection on Australia’s east and west coast.
