Crusader Caravans was announced as the Caravan Industry’s 2019 “Manufacturer of the Year’  to invited guests at the industries gala dinner held at Crown Entertainment Complex in Melbourne.

Serge Valentino, Managing Director of Crusader Caravans accepted the award in front of notables from all aspects of the caravan industry and thanked the team at Crusader for making this award possible.  “I never thought in a million years that I would be up here accepting this award, this is for team Crusader”, said Serge.

Serge went on to say “there are so many people who have contributed so much to put us in the position we are now and I need to thank them very, very much”.

There is a stringent process to be undertaken to even be considered for the Manufacturer of the Year’ and each company must demonstrate strong commitment to quality systems, innovation, after-sales support and total adherence to safety and manufacturing regulation.

Each manufacturer is audited in detail and the list is narrowed down to a handful of finalists and there can be only one winner as judged by impartial representative from the Caravan Industry Association.

Crusader has been manufacturing Caravans since the turn of the century at its production facility in Epping, an outer suburb of Melbourne. They have implemented a full range of quality checking systems, not only for each stage of production but, in working with their dealers. Quality checks are carried out on receipt at the dealerships, during the pre-delivery process and on handover to customers.  Once their van is delivered there is a follow up by a call from Crusaders Customer Relations team, surveying the customer on their experience.

“If it wasn’t for the customer, we wouldn’t be in business”, Max Mayo, Crusaders Sales and Marketing Manager commented, “We try very hard to keep the customer happy and we believe that owners of our caravans would certainly consider Crusader again for their next purchase”.

Crusader offers six model ranges and twenty-seven standard models but with a huge selection of optional extras and variations to customise your caravan, all built with a thick fully insulated one-piece composite floor and roof.
