Based on overwhelming requests from existing and potential customers, Cub responded and has officially announced the launch of the new ‘Scout’ Forward Fold camper trailer.

Since its release in 2016, the Cub ‘Frontier’ has stood out as the only 100% Australian Made forward fold, while its ease of setup and rugged construction has made it the most popular model in Cub’s range. By taking key features that drew customers to the Frontier, Cub developed the ‘Scout’ with a new type of camper in mind and have created one of the lightest forward fold camper trailers on the market. With a tare weight of 1113kg and a ball weight of just 105kg, the ‘Scout’ is the perfect family camper for the small-medium SUV owner looking to head out for a beach getaway.

The ‘Scout’ is a modern trailer that feels more like a caravan, but with the benefits of a range of
innovative features and a smaller footprint when set up. Cub Campers is confident that the ‘Scout’ will join the rest of the iconic Cub Camper trailers as a clear customer favourite.

Customer feedback and extensive market research has driven the design of the ‘Scout’. With a focus on a high level of comfort, while maintaining the great quality and design for which Cub Campers are known, the ‘Scout’ offers greater storage and living space internally compared to other models on the market and will easily sleep 2 adults and 2 children. The interior features a comfortable double bed and lounge area with plenty of storage space. With ample LED lighting, the interior environment is bright and well-lit, whilst minimising power usage.

Externally, the high-quality kitchen features a SMEV 3 burner stainless steel stove, a stainless-steel sink and LED lighting. Cub have also included a 100 litre heavy-duty water tank as standard – meaning less of the additional storage space will be needed for additional water on those long trips.
