Destined for Stardom

There’s a new kid on the block and it’s already making a tsunami of waves, but does it have what it takes to outgun the top contenders?

Make no mistake ladies and gents, the Domino from Offline Campers is a relatively newcomer to the camper trailer scene that by all intents and purposes promises big things! It’s already taken out several awards from the Camper Trailer of the Year competition, and proven it has no qualms in breaking the tradition mould and re-inventing the wheel to deliver a design that ticks more boxes than most. So, we thought we’d take a closer look at what makes it tick.

A Star is Born

Created in 2018, the Offline Campers brand was born after the owner, Sam, searched the camper trailer market high and low for a design that he would be happy to lay down his hard-earned cash on. Unfortunately, no such camper trailer was found. So, being a mechanical engineer by trade, he got started on a design to build his own masterpiece. Somewhere during that process, the decision was made to kick off the Offline Campers brand, and the rest is history!

Beast Mode

The Domino has two main set-up options, the first of which is the “travel mode”. This basically allows you to pull over for a quick overnight stay in the blink of an eye, meaning the bed and internal storage can be accessed through the rear doors, perfect for one night stops or those ‘no set-up’ days.

Then, it’s got the camp mode, which offers an electric transition between the two modes, and gives you two metres of internal floor space.

Storage

Perhaps what sets Domino’s design apart from the rest of its competitors is the storage it provides, or more precisely, its ability to deliver a place for everything at the point of use. This basically means, when you need something, it’s more than likely going to easily accessible at any given time. You don’t have to move things around or unpack half your trailer, it’s just there, ready to go. 400L of kitchen storage means the Domino is well equipped to cater for the hungriest of campers, and when you add a 340L under bed storage draw and over 1400L of addition storage space throughout the camper you’ll find it wants for nothing more.

Adventure Ready

Weighing in at an impressive 1200kg, this is a camper trailer that can really go places without giving your tow-tug a hard time. It’s 1800mm width means it isn’t bulky out on those tight stretches of track, and a draw bar extension of 600mm as standard goes a long way to ensuring it’s well-minored to tow and reverse.

Suspension wise, we’ve got a full independently coil sprung system with twin shock absorbers and 12inch electric brakes mounted to the full hot-dip galvanised chassis. Long story short, it’s a tough and durable set-up that just works.

Impressive Upgrades

The Domino is the type of camper that comes well equipped with quality features and accessories, but it’s the comprehensive list of upgrades available that allow you to turn this camper into your own unique masterpiece. For example, a 105L water tank is fitted from standard, however, you can opt for an additional 75L centre drinking water tank complete with a charcoal water filter unit.
