January 2026 start: Hitch Campers Madigan Nears Production

R&D on the long-awaited Hitch Campers Madigan hybrid camper is drawing to a close, with only fine-tune adjustments expected ahead of its January production start.

Hitch Campers, taking orders for January Production

Having undertaken extensive off-road testing in its initial Madigan prototype, Hitch Campers is now taking orders off the back of the second prototype, spotted alongside dealer Outback HQ at the Melbourne Outdoor Living and Caravan Show.

Innovative Automated Roof System

Among the characteristics defining the hard-walled Hitch Campers Madigan, a clever automated roof levelling system offering 2m head height at camp controllable via the REDARD RedVision TMVS that you can access on your mobile phone.

Spacious Interior and Full External Kitchen

Indoors, there’s room for a full queen-size bed, two person dinette and access to a shower tent outdoors. The comprehensive external kitchen features an induction cooktop, pull-out bench forming an L-shape workspace, a microwave and a front opening fridge with a serving door between granting internal access indoors.

Narrow, lightweight & with ample Solar

The Hitch Campers Madigan will enjoy excellent trackside credibility thanks to a narrow towing profile, Cruisemaster ATX airbags with the horizon levelling BCS system and a lightweight Tare starting at 1600kg. As standard, it will come with a 400Ah battery/600W solar system, scalable to 1200Ah/1245W.
