Enjoy the Serenity at Glen Cromie Reserve
Glen Cromie Reserve is almost like a retreat. Set on the lovely Tarago River and surrounded by beautiful natural bushland this park is perfect for that peaceful getaway.
This park will cater to your needs. We preferenced, and were given a powered, riverside site but there are also cabins and tents available if you’d prefer.
Scattered around the park are shelters that you can use for bigger groups as well as fire pits, play grounds, electronic BBQs and 3 amenities blocks.
Set on 55 acres the park has beautiful walking paths up to 2 kilometres long for those of us who like to wander through the bush and of course there are plenty of water activities with the river so handy.
This park is a great little find. Close enough to Melbourne for the weekend get-away but so peaceful you could be in the middle of nowhere. It was the perfect 2nd leg of our newbies tour, an easy trip and tow from Lang Lang and a quiet, relaxing destination. If only it wasn’t for all those repeated stories from our travelling partners.

Our hosts at Glen Cromie Reserve were kind enough to cook us up a big breakfast giving us a reprieve from Terry’s cooking but to the delight of Macca and Graeme.
