One of the most spectacular privately-owned gardens in Australia is right under our Macedon noses.  The Forest Glade Gardens surround the Stokes Collection so it only made sense that we took a squiz around the property – and we were suitably blown away.

Consisting of 14.5 themed gardens this property is truly a gift and one that you really need to dedicate a day to explore.

Decimated by the tragic Ash Wednesday fires in 1983 the gardens have been lovingly rebuilt and what stands today is an absolute tribute to those who have given their time to create such a serene haven for garden lovers, photographers and those of us who just enjoy fresh air.
