Not far from Toowoomba is a terrific location where you can immerse yourself in both rural and forest environments. The Great Bunya Drive runs from Toowoomba through such towns as Oakey, Dalby, Bell, Kumbia and Nanango through to Kingaroy. You don’t have to do the whole run to experience the countryside and you can also hook up with another drive called Australia’s Country Way going through Yarraman, Cooyar and Crows Nest.
