Gulgong NSW – The Ten Dollar Town

Founded during the gold rush era in the late 1800s, Gulgong has become known as The Ten Dollar Town because it appeared on the first $10 note in Australia, it was also the childhood home of Australian writer and bush poet Henry Lawson.
