Pitstops and Travelling Tips on the way to Echuca!
Macca and the guys from G&S Chassis share some tips on travelling with caravans and what to look out for when you’re on the road.
Macca felt as though he was Bathurst while he was fueling up and Giovanni was pumping up with tyres, although they can’t drive as fast, they are towing a caravan and they are not racecar drivers! Sorry Macca, your Bathurst dream has not quite come alive yet!
Tip – No1
If you’re travelling along with your caravan and you can feel it swaying from side to side. Giovanni recommends for you to pull over and re-arrange some of your personal belongings by moving them to the front of your caravan.
Tip – No2
When pulling over on the side of the road what do you need to look for?
- CHECK YOUR WHEEL BEARINGS – Macca can not stress enough when he says it’s one of the most important components of the caravan/vehicle. Make sure it is in working order and you don’t put yourself in the position where you can lose a wheel.
Follow these tips, and you are ensured to have a safe journey next time you head out on your adventure!
