Tossed for ideas? Here are some easy salads you can make on the road!

You may have a love for cooking but let’s face it, sometimes it can get a bit tricky on the road! You simply can’t go past a classic salad as a side dish to fill your belly-plus, it’s super easy!

 

Italian Salad.

Ingredients.

1 x punnet of cherry tomatoes.
1 x small tub bocconcini cheese.
1 x red onion.
1 packet of Italian biscuit bread.
Bunch a basil.
1/2 cup Kyneton Olive Oil
Salt to taste.

Method
Cut cherry tomatoes in halves.
Cut cheese into halves or quarters, whichever you prefer.
Thinly slice red onion.
Roughly break up Italian biscuit bread.
Shred basil leaves.
Gently mix all ingredients in large salad bowl except of oil. When you have completed this, pour the olive oil in,
mixing gently.
Cover and refrigerate for 1/2 hour then serve.

Chang Noodle Salad
Ingredients:
½ -1 Chinese cabbage, or ¼ savoy cabbage, shredded finely
6 green onion, sliced to 4-5mm
100g lightly roasted slivered almonds or pine nuts
1 packet Chang’s Original Fried Noodles or Crunchy Noodles

Dressing:
¼ cup White Vinegar
¼ cup Castor Sugar or you can use honey.
1 tblsp Chang’s Soy Sauce
2 tsp Chang’s Sesame oil (optional)
½ cup Olive Oil

Method:
Combine the sliced cabbage, chopped green onions and almonds in a salad bowl.

Add dressing to taste, and mix well. Add Original Fried Noodles to the salad just
before serving.
