Solar 4 RVs is a Finalist in 2017 Optus My Business Awards

A leading business providing solar systems for the marine and RV sector is in the running to take out one of Australia’s longest-standing business awards program.

Solar 4 RVs has been selected as a 2017 finalist in the prestigious Optus My Business Awards in the Retail Business of the Year category.

Trish Chapallaz, Co-founder/Owner and Director at Solar 4 RVs said she was humbled when advised her business had been nominated and is thrilled that the company has been shortlisted as a finalist.

Founded in 2013, Solar 4 RVs is recognised as the leading specialist provider of lightweight, flexible solar panels and solar systems for mobile applications in Australia.  The family owned and operated company supports both businesses and the public.   “Being recognised for providing professional, accurate and honest advice and premium, quality products is very rewarding.” Trish says.   Solar 4 RVs is unique in that it is the only company in Australia offering a design and advice service for lightweight off-grid solar systems for mobile applications as well as engineered solutions for industry.

Trish explains “We have established strong relationships with caravan and motorhome manufacturers, boat builders and marine electricians and have undertaken an interesting number of unusual projects.”

Co-founder/owner and electrical/electronics engineer Phil adds “All our advice is based on extensive research and testing providing credibility in a sector that abounds with conflicting and confusing information”. “We specialise in premium quality products including our own RADpower brand of unique flexible solar panels with the latest GEN III SunPower cells and an ETFE top layer providing UV protection plus textured surface for extra robustness.

Solar 4 RVs are also the Australian importer for the world renowned Solbiaflex solar panels tested on racing yachts and have just announced they will soon stock the latest release eArche thin solar panels that have a 10 year product warranty.

The Optus My Business Awards, which covers 28 categories, acknowledges best practice within a particular industry sector, as well as individual business leaders, excellence in customer service and achievements in innovation, corporate social responsibility and workplace culture.

Winners from all categories will be automatically shortlisted for the highly coveted Business of the Year Award.
